PeachJar Flyers
PeachJar Overview
As part of our ongoing commitment to be more environmentally-friendly and to ensure parents have quick and easy access to important information, we partnered with PeachJar to provide a digital flyer delivery system. Peachjar sends approved flyers directly to parents’ email inbox and posts them online on all school websites. With Peachjar, parents can easily find and view flyers, and take action immediately to sign up for activities and events.
Flyers specific to individual schools are included on the individual school's website.
Information for Families
To view school-approved flyers, simply click the Peachjar button on your school’s website homepage (located at the bottom under "Links and Resources".
No action is required for families to receive flyers. To ensure smooth delivery of this communication, we suggest families add school@peachjar.com (or your district’s selected “from email address”) to your email contacts. When you receive your first e-flyer, be sure to click “always display images.”
This system is used exclusively for distribution of school-approved flyers. Your email address will not be shared or used for any other purpose. There is also a button to unsubscribe from Peachjar emails.

Guidelines
Per policy KI, curriculum-related advertisement is permitted when resources are consistent with and related to the district's curriculum and compliant with the district's policy and procedures. The district may utilize a designated electronic distribution method for distributing advertisements regarding programs, events, contests, and other activities that are not sponsored by the district. In order to ensure advertisements are related to curriculum and adhere to the guidelines below, they will be approved by the superintendent or designee. The district reserves the right to deny any request.
The following guidelines will be followed for determining whether an advertisement may be approved for inclusion:
- The requesting organization must be:
- a group affiliated with the district per policy KI; or
- a qualified charitable organization with proof of 501c(3) status; or
- a government entity/political subdivision under Missouri or federal statutes; or
- one that exists to provide educational or enrichment services to Kirkwood students.
- The information must serve to benefit students and must not interfere, conflict, or compete with programs offered by the district. To ensure this is the case, content may be shared or reviewed by the Kirkwood School District program, department, or office more directly related to the information.
- Materials must include the name and contact information of the sponsoring entity.
- The following content will not be approved:
- Information endorsing or promoting a specific religion, religious organization, political candidate, or position on a political issue.
- Promotion of any content that is inconsistent with the mission and vision of the Kirkwood School District.
- Any direct solicitation of money, except for dues for membership or fees for an activity announced in the material.
- Mention of activities or events not suitable for children or not permitted to minors by law.
- Content marketing to Kirkwood School District students or subgroups offering compensation for participation in a specific activity.
The district does not endorse any particular non-school-sponsored group that distributes literature. The postings may be independent of and not affiliated with nor administered by the Kirkwood School District. Approval of materials does not constitute an endorsement of the material or affiliated organization. Materials must include a disclaimer. For example: "This program and its parent organization are not sponsored by, affiliated with, nor endorsed by the Kirkwood School District or its individual schools."
