After-School Activities
Our Semester 1 after-school activity offerings are now available for the 2026-2027 school year, which includes our ASA calendar and club descriptions.
Important note: Both our club calendar and club descriptions are subject to change. In the event that a club/activity is cancelled, we will share updates ASAP so that student transportation can be arranged. Thank you!

Student Sign-Up: A Sign-Up Genius link will be emailed to students’ Kirkwood email accounts at 8:00 AM each day that clubs are offered. Since not all clubs meet every week, please reference the S1 calendar above. Students must sign themselves up by 1:00 PM to stay after school. Please make sure to view the activity calendar to discuss days/dates when your student plans to attend and organize transportation after the 3:55 PM activity.
Transportation: Activity bus transportation is available for students who qualify for First Student service. The bus will depart Nipher at ≈ 4:05 PM from the South Gym and will have fewer stops than the regular bus, so ride times take longer. If picking up your student, please use the north parking lot and arrive by 4:00 PM. If an ASA is cancelled, students will be notified so transportation arrangements can be made. Please review the bus stop document with your student to help them select the appropriate drop-off location (shared in parent newsletter on 9/2/2026).
Club Types: "Open clubs" are open to all students with no regular attendance requirements, but students must sign up each day they attend. "Closed clubs" require either membership, regular attendance, and/or additional fees or prerequisites. Closed club examples include: Knight Steppers (after try-outs), Dance Team, Weightlifting, and the Fall Production (see in club descriptions).
